  • Trash pick-up is early every Friday morning, in case of a holiday, collection will be delayed until Saturday.

  • Recycle pick-up is every other Friday. See their Calender for dates each month.

  • Garbage cans must be 33 gallons or less.

  • Two bulk items are allowed per week.

  • Recycling is every other Friday.

  • The Village is currently in contract with Mid Michigan Waste Aurhority (MMWA),

  • For any problems with collection call the office, or directly to MMWA at 989-781-9555.

MMWA’s curbside residential recycling program has been upgraded to include more materials and eliminate sorting requirements.

Problem Waste Program

Community Toxics Prevention Problem Waste Program is available to provide area residents with more opportunities to manage three kinds of troublesome residential wastes:

  • 1 Household chemicals
  • 2 Certain electronics
  • 3 Unwanted medications

Village Dump

  • Located on the south side of town, on Birch Street, by Third Street.
  • Open from dawn to dusk.
  • No Plastic Bags
  • This dump is intended for use by Village residents only.
  • Please leave only bio-degradable items only.
  • ALL YARD WASTE MUST ORIGINATE FROM WITHIN VILLAGE LIMITS
